There are plenty of cinemas in Thessaloniki, especially in the city centre, within close distance from AUTH. Majority of films are screened with Greek subtitles so you do not need to know Greek in order to watch (and enjoy) them. Below is a map of cinemas located in central Thessaloniki.

Odeon is probably the biggest cinema in Thessaloniki. It is located in the shopping complex on the corner of Tsimiski Street and Aristotle's Square. For screening programme at Odeon click here.
